MEMORIAL AND MUSEUM AUSCHWITZ-BIRKENAU FORMER GERMAN NAZI
CONCENTRATION AND EXTERMINATION CAMP

Volunteering

Each year, several hundred volunteers support the staff of the Memorial. Volunteers can work in various departments of the Museum, but also help remotely, carrying out projects outside the Memorial, supporting us in translations or other projects, e.g. organising meetings or conferences on the history of World War II and the Holocaust.

Working with the Museum provides an opportunity to learn more about the multidimensional history of Auschwitz, as well as to understand the contemporary museum institution.

Candidates for voluntary service should be of age, available and able to engage in work for a minimum of one month. Knowledge of foreign languages is an advantage.
