Batsheva Dagan. If the Stars Could Only Speak
A booklet for children discussing the issue of the Holocaust. Using the experiences of main characters (mother and her children), Batsheva Dagan describes imprisonment in the ghetto and the concentration camp. In short episodes, the writer shows manifestations of love and care for others in the world of evil. The characters in the book managed to survive; they overcame longing during separation and experienced freedom.
Just as in the case of the booklet entitled “Chika, the Dog in the Ghetto”, the publication is a proposal for parents and teachers who want to familiarize their children and pupils with this tragic chapter of our history, i.e. the Holocaust.
This publication is available in Polish only.
