Due to the 15th anniversary of its establishing the International Centre for Education about Auschwitz and the Holocaust (ICEAH) invites to attend a conference “Challenges of education in an authentic memorial site. Activities of the International Centre for Education about Auschwitz and the Holocaust” that will take place on July 1-4, 2020 in a new building of the Centre.

International Centre for Education about Auschwitz and the Holocaust was established on January 27, 2005 as a wish of former prisoners, who have determined its mission: to convey the memory of the victims of Auschwitz and the Holocaust, deepen an understanding of the mechanisms of hatred and contempt perceive new threats and prevent them by developing dialogue and cooperation. That is why we would like to invite to take part in this event employees of memorial sites, museums, organizations and institutions that not only deal with crimes of the Second World War but also with human rights and education about antidiscrimination and prevention of hate crimes. During the programme we would like to present our activities and potential fields of cooperation.

The organizer covers the costs of accommodation in double bed rooms and fare. The languages of the conference will be Polish and English. Due to organizational reasons we would like to ask all people interested in taking part in this event to contact us by March 31, 2020.

Persons responsible for the conference are Anna Stańczyk () and Magdalena Płoszaj () from Educational Projects of ICEAH.
