Representative for the New Main Exhibition, coordinating the work of the Working Group established for the realization of the project.

Between 2006-2012 she was the Head of Educational Programs at the International Center for Education about Auschwitz and the Holocaust. Alicja Białecka is the co-author of the methodological concept and educational mission of the ICEAH, as well as of the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance guidelines for study visits in the museums and memorial sites devoted to the Holocaust. As Polish delegate to IHRA, she takes part in the works of the Museum and Memorial Working Group.

Alicja Białecka holds a Master’s degree in English Philology from Silesian University. She completed her doctoral studies at the Institute of European Studies at the Faculty of International and Political Studies of the Jagiellonian University. At present, within the framework of her doctoral thesis at the Department of Literary Anthropology and Cultural Studies at the Faculty of Polish Studies of the Jagiellonian University, she conducts research on the memory about the Holocaust and its representation in women’s personal document literature.
